One of my Business mentors, John Thornhill recently posted a very interesting blog post on live events. On the post he discusses about ten basic rules you should be following when attending a live event to make the most of it.
My favourite out of the ten was number six: “It’s Not About You”. When at networking events, there is always someone who forgets about this rule and then they keep boring people by talking about everything they do without getting to know the other person.
